Our Vision for the Future

The radio program broadcast by IBENIL reaches fourteen countries. It exists to preach the Gospel and encourage pastors to begin a Bible institute ministry in their local church.

In Latin America multitudes have accepted Christ and thousands of churches have been established. Since not all have sound doctrine, the training of believers is essential to true Biblical Christianity.

A church with doctrinally sound believers will be strengthened internally. A spiritually sound church will then reproduce itself externally.

This objective will not be met exclusively by foreign missionaries. Faithful national men (and women) must be trained as Paul commanded Timothy in II Timothy 2:2.

To aide pastors on foreign fields in fulfilling this responsibility, IBENIL offers Spanish courses free of charge through the Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary. The hundreds of the Seminary’s alumni currently reaching their world for Christ can soon be thousands.

For a missionary to develop a national church takes at least a decade. The national believer can reach his own people better and quicker. This Biblical method maximizes the results and minimizes the expense.

We have helped pastors begin and develop structured Seminary Extension programs in Honduras, El Salvador, Cuba, Mexico, and the United States. Pastors in Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Paraguay enrolled in Seminary Extension programs in response to IBENIL radio programs broadcast on Bible Broadcast Network, reaching fourteen countries.

Travelling to four countries brought us into personal contact with some of those men of God. Our purpose is to enroll Seminary representatives in different countries to encourage even more pastors to enroll their churches as Seminary Extensions.

We envision the forty-seven churches enrolled as of 2010 to become hundreds. God has given us the experience and knowledge to achieve this ambitious goal. He enables others to pray and give so that the Kingdom of God might grow.
